My name is Jon Katz. I write books and I take pictures. In the spring of 2007 - a challenging and difficult time for me - I began taking photos for the first time in my life. Since then, taking pictures has become very important to me - a new way to tell stories and to look at the world.

On BedlamFarm.com I post photos of the farm, my dogs and the animals there. Here, I hope to post photos that are distinctive, tell stories, make statements, and challenge me. Every photo I see, I've learned, is a story in itself — from the farmscapes around me, to the Hospice work I do with Izzy. This is new to me and very exciting; I am always working hard to take better photos.
